Evaluations

A speech and language evaluation provides a clear picture of how your child communicates and understands the world around them. A Speech Language Pathologist uses standardized testing, play-based tasks, and family input to assess skills such as speech sound production, language comprehension, expressive language, social communication, fluency, and feeding or swallowing when appropriate. The results guide us in the development of a individualized therapy plan that supports your child’s ability to communicate confidently at home, in school, and with peers.

Our Specialties

Speech Sounds (Articulation & Phonology)

Clear speech helps children feel confident when sharing their thoughts. If your child has trouble producing certain sounds or is hard to understand, therapy can guide them toward clearer, more accurate speech so they can be understood with ease.

Expressive & Receptive Language

Children learn and connect more deeply when they understand and use language with confidence. We actively strengthen their comprehension and expression so they can share ideas, follow directions, and engage meaningfully with others.

Literacy (Reading & Writing)

Speech and language lay the groundwork for strong literacy skills. Through therapy, we nurture the building blocks of reading and writing, such as phonological awareness, vocabulary and comprehension, so children can grow into confident, capable learners.

Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)

Every child deserves a voice. For kids who benefit from communication tools such as speech-generating devices, therapy provides training and support so they can express themselves fully.

Social Communication (Pragmatics)

Communication is more than words…it’s knowing how to connect. Therapy supports skills like turn-taking and understanding social cues so children can build friendships and thrive in daily interaction.

Fluency (Stuttering)

Stuttering can make speaking feel stressful. We provide strategies and support to help children speak more smoothly, reduce tension, and grow confident in their communication.

Cognitive-Communication Skills

Attention, memory, and problem-solving all play a role in communication. We help children strengthen these thinking skills so they can succeed at home, in school, and in everyday life.

We Are Accepting New Clients!

No two children learn and grow in the same way, and that’s the beauty of therapy. Our role is to meet your child exactly where they are, provide our knowledge and expertise, celebrate their progress, and support your family every step of the way. Whether your child needs help with one area of communication or several, we’re here to make the process encouraging and effective.
